Lexie is a yoga instructor and journalist specialising in health and fitness writing. She spent ten years at Haymarket Publishing working on the business titles Campaign, PR Week and Marketing. In 2006 Lexie trained as a yoga instructor with the British Wheel of Yoga. As a runner, cyclist and sprint-distance triathlete, she was keen to become a yoga sports specialist and trained with Yoga Sport Science to offer techniques like targeted stretching, core work, mental training and breathing techniques to athletes.
Lexie has worked one-to-one with sprinters, runners, cyclists, triathletes, tennis players and pistol shooters. She runs group yoga sessions with running and triathlon clubs and teaches Yoga for Runners and Cyclists workshops across Surrey and London. Lexie has written about stretching and yoga for magazines including Runner’s World, Triathlete’s World, Cycling Plus and Cycling Active. Bloomsbury published two fitness titles by Lexie in 2014 – Yoga for Runners and Yoga for Cyclists.
