Astrid King is a writer and former set designer who grew up immersed in theatre, radio and television in America. Her mother was comedy legend Peg Lynch, dubbed ‘the woman who invented sitcom’.  She promotes her mother’s comedy both there and in the UK and occasionally wishes her esteemed Ma were still alive so she could chalk up some Good Daughter points. 

Astrid is currently putting the finishing touches to a mother and daughter memoir with a difference – Mama’s Final Fling.

Living in England since 1980, Astrid is married to composer Denis King.
