Saskia McCracken is an author and arts worker based in Glasgow. Her writing has been shortlisted for the 2021 Future Places Environmental Essay Prize and longlisted for the 2022 Nature Chronicles Prize. She has a PhD in English Literature from the University of Glasgow (2021) and co-edited Beastly Modernisms: Animal Figuration in Modernist Literature and Culture (Edinburgh University Press 2023). Saskia’s debut short story collection Zero Hours was published by Broken Sleep Books (2021).
